1. Data we collect

a. When you buy a license

Purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details; we never see your card or bank information. From the order we receive:

• your name and email address;
• your country (for tax purposes, from Paddle);
• the Splunk deployment identifier(s) you entered at checkout, which we need in order to issue a node-locked key; and
• the order and subscription identifiers.

We store these in a license ledger so we can issue your key, reissue it if your deployment identifier changes, provide support, and meet accounting obligations.

b. When you contact us

The email address and the content of what you send, so we can reply and keep a record of the support history.

c. When you visit this website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp) to serve and protect the site. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers and we do not set cookies of our own. If you open the checkout, Paddle's script sets cookies necessary for the payment flow, governed by Paddle's own policy.

2. What we do not collect

• None of your data. Everything your searches read, and every chart and dashboard you build, stays in your Splunk deployment.
• No product usage data. The Software does not report which dashboards you open, how many charts you build, or whether your license is valid. License verification is performed locally and offline.
• No payment details. These are held by Paddle.

3. Legal basis and purposes

Where the GDPR or a comparable law applies, we process the data in section 1 on the basis of: performance of a contract (issuing and supporting your license), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, preventing licence abuse, securing the website).

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with processors that are necessary to run the business:

5. Retention

License and order records are kept for the duration of the licence and afterwards for as long as required by tax and accounting law in the Republic of Korea (generally five years). Support correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for support history, and then deleted on request.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Write to [email protected].

Note that we cannot delete order records we are legally required to retain, and that deleting your license record means we can no longer reissue your key.

7. International transfers

Our processors operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Those transfers rely on the processors' own transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Security

The license-signing private key is held offline and is never present on this website. The license ledger is access-restricted. This site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not warrant that it is.

9. Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
